The pop star Olivia Rodrigo did not spend her Sunday at MTV VMAs. Rodrigo was nominated for Video of the Year for “Brutal,” Best Pop Song for “Traitor,” Best Longform for “Driving Home 2 U,” and Best Editing for “Brutal.” But Rodrigo preferred to skip the ceremony.
The singer’s very last public appearance was a few days ago before the MTV VMAs. Rodrigo performed “Uptown Girl” with Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden.
